Privacy policy

1. Scope

This policy explains how Fileflipp handles information when you use its website or contact us. It covers the website, not the separate policies of your browser, email provider or other third-party services.

2. Files and conversion data

File conversions run in your browser. Selected files, typed conversion text and measurement values are not uploaded to Fileflipp for conversion. The converters do not save this content to website storage. Downloaded outputs are saved to the location managed by your browser. Closing the page ends the conversion session; your original files and saved downloads remain on your device.

3. Website delivery and third parties

Loading the website sends ordinary requests to our hosting provider. These requests can include your IP address, browser information, requested pages and technical diagnostics. Hosting providers may process this information under their own policies to deliver, secure and operate the site. Fileflipp also loads fonts from Google Fonts, which receives network information associated with those requests. See Google Fonts’ privacy information.

4. Cookies, analytics and advertising

Fileflipp’s conversion tools do not set advertising cookies or use browser storage to retain your files. We have not added Google AdSense advertising or a dedicated analytics tracker to the site. The hosting platform and external services may process technical data independently; we cannot describe their retention as if it were under Fileflipp’s control.

If Google AdSense is enabled in the future, this policy will be updated before ads are served. Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads based on visits to this and other websites. Where required, advertising will be subject to a consent choice, with a way to change or withdraw it. You can review how Google uses information on partner sites and manage personalized advertising in Google My Ad Center. No advertising consent choice is needed for AdSense on this site while AdSense is not installed.

5. Email inquiries

If you email us, we receive your email address, the message and any attachments you choose to send. We use them to respond and investigate your request. Messages are handled through Gmail and may be retained as needed for follow-up or legal obligations. Please do not send private conversion files, passwords or sensitive personal data.

6. Your choices and requests

You can control cookies and downloads through your browser settings. You can ask about access, correction or deletion of information you have sent us by email; applicable rights depend on your location. Because we do not receive your conversion files, we cannot retrieve or delete files stored on your own device.

7. Security and children

Local conversion reduces the need to transfer file content, but no website or device can guarantee absolute security. Fileflipp is a general-purpose utility and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children; contact us if you believe a child has sent us personal information.
